Where: Historic Downtown Garland Square – 520 W. State St.
Garland’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series will be an excellent way for the entire family to spend a summer evening under the beautiful Texas stars.
Every Saturday in June, the festivities begin at 3 p.m. with high-quality craft and food vendors lining the Downtown Square. The fun continues throughout the evening with live music beginning at 7 p.m. and fireworks to end the event (approximately 9:15 p.m.). The event is free. Bring some cash for the vendors!
Two special local artists will be part of the festivities. Each week, Scott Miller will create customized wooden chairs inspired by that evening’s performance. Michelle Noah will be on-site June 2, 16 and 30, creating canvas art inspired by the music performed.
