Garland City Council Approves New Mandatory Sterilization Ordinance
To help control the overpopulation of stray animals in the the City of Garland, the City Council approved an ordinance mandating that all dogs and cats over the age of 6 months must be spayed or neutered. This ordinance goes into effect on Oct. 1, 2019.
