On this day in 1974 the Garland Landmark Museum was dedicated. The museum's original location was behind City Hall at Museum Plaza. Currently, it is at Walnut and Sixth Streets in Heritage Crossing.

Preschool Storytime is designed for ages 3 to 5-year-olds and their caregivers. Enjoy books, songs, exploring colors, letters, numbers, and much more that will help develop your preschooler's early literacy skills.

Se explorará un enfoque en la prealfabetización y alfabetización temprana en Inglés y Español junto con baile, canto y manualidades ocasionales. The story times will consist of different themes every week including family, love, holidays, friendship, animals and food, which in turn will highlight our Spanish youth collection. A focus on pre-literacy and early literacy in both English and Spanish will be explored along with dancing, singing and occasional crafts.
