Happy Birthday Garland Landmark Museum!

On this day in 1974 the Garland Landmark Museum was dedicated. The museum's original location was behind City Hall at Museum Plaza. Currently, it is at Walnut and Sixth Streets in Heritage Crossing.

STEAM Lab Saturday Introduction to Coding with Swift Playgrounds

The September STEAM Lab Saturday will introduce kids to Swift programming language by using the Swift Playground app.

Family Read & Play

The whole family will learn, play, and grow during this interactive storytime full of stories, creative movement, and songs that will strengthen listening, language, and literacy skills. We will use books, movement activities, songs, rhymes, manipulative, and extensions that promote the growth of the child's literacy, brain, and emotional development. We will also model ways caregivers can interact, engage, and be their child's first teacher.

Disaster Prepardedness

Using silhouette cutouts of various animals on canvas, patrons can make abstract watercolor art they can hang in their home or give as a gift.
