Library Board Monthly Meeting

The purpose of the Library Board is to advise the City Council on problems relating to the Public Library and to recommend plans and programs to promote the library system for the city. The Board approves library policies, long range plans, and other pertinent documents as they are recommended by Karen Archibald, Director of Libraries.

The Library Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the William E. Dollar Municipal Building in Work Session chambers, located at 200 N. Fifth St., Garland, TX 75040.  All meetings are open to the public unless the Board goes into executive session.  Meeting agendas and approved minutes are posted on the Library Board page for citizen review.
