Ordinance Information & Drought Contingency Plan

Garland city officials have declared Stage 2 drought response measures in effect at this time.  Residents and businesses are allowed to water their lawns twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.  However, Garland's Water Conservation Ordinances are in effect, and enforced, year-round.  For more information visit garlandwater.com.

Conservation Plan Key Points

• No outdoor irrigation between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
• Newly-installed irrigations systems must be equipped with rain and freeze sensors
• Watering with a hand-held hose, soaker hose or drip irrigation is allowed at any time
