The City Secretary Department's mission is to facilitate, support and enhance the efforts of the City Council to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of their office and the ability of the general public to acquire and access public records and information. 

Minutes are available in PDF format online. CDs or DVDs are available for purchase or can be viewed online

City Code of Ordinances is available online or at the Library.

The spring election season begins on Friday, January 1, the first day to apply for ballot by mail.

  • Friday, January 1, - First day to apply for Ballot by Mail
  • Wednesday, January 20 - First day to file for Place on a General Election Ballot
  • Friday, February 19 - Last day to file for Place on General Election Ballot
  • Monday, April 25 - Last day to Register to Vote and First day of Early Voting
  • Friday, April 26 - Last day to Apply for Ballot by Mail
  • Monday, April 25 - First day of Early Voting (Bradfield Recreation Center, 1146 Castle Drive)
  • Friday, May 3 - Last day of Early Voting
  • Tuesday, May 7 - Last day to receive Ballot by Mail
