The City Secretary Department's mission is to facilitate, support and enhance the efforts of the City Council to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of their office and the ability of the general public to acquire and access public records and information. 

Minutes are available in PDF format online. CDs or DVDs are available for purchase or can be viewed online

City Code of Ordinances is available online or at the Library.

June 18 Joint Runoff Election Dates

The Dallas County Community College Districts 3 and 4 will have a Joint Runoff Election (Richland College, 675 Walnut W. Street, Garland, Texas 75040 ).

Early Voting Times:

  • Monday, June 6 -  7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday - Friday, June  7 - 10 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday, June 11 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Sunday, June 12 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm
  • Monday, June 13 and Tuesday June 14 6:30 am to 9:00 pm

Solicitors
